January 28, 2024 - Reduction here again, very slow to clean up (no decant this time). Some roses, smooth mouth, red fruits, some earthy spice. Cellared since original release.

March 10, 2020 - Wow! Initially some reduction in the nose, but it cleared up quickly after decanting. Very complex nose and mouth with spices and red cherry fruit, velvet texture, lightness on palate. This vineyard is by the cemetery at the bottom of Romanée-St-Vivant; not RSV in character, but it's own character as a very fine 1er cru. Just pure delight. Bottle obtained from the property 6-8 years ago.

March 6, 2015 - Accessable up front. Sweet dark cherry, floral, and noticeable wood tones. Reminds me of Bouchard in style. With time a huge and complex nose of Cherry, vanilla, apricot, and exotic spice. Beautifully Intense, complex, and well balanced. Delicious.

March 4, 2014 - Needs time to open - I am amazed how it blossomed into a wonderful tasting experience separating this Pinot from a California wine.
