March 2, 2024 - I’m a fan of this Domaine. Maturing ruby red color. The nose pleases with red fruit, dry earth, sandalwood and spice market. Complex - it opened and evolved over four hours. Started with more fruit with the tertiary aromas taking over after a few hours. Medium body with a rugged texture. This is naturally powerful burgundy as it’s not at all over extracted - there is just natural power. The finish is ok, not great. A very good wine yet I’ve had better from them. (92)

January 24, 2020 - Mørk burgunder med brunskjær. Tørket frukt, mot dadler og rosin, høy syre og kraftige tanniner. For meg er denne over toppen, men kan fortsatt gi drikkeglede.

    February 3, 2018 - Stunning Clos Vougeot.
Needed an hour in the decanter to open up, then showed a melange of blueberry, dark raspberries, pine sap, spice and a little leather. Extremely long, sophisticated and in no way over-ripe.
One of the best 06 wines I have had the pleasure to taste.
Powering on beautifully, but certainly approachable now with a good decant.

October 17, 2015 - Transparent dark garnet-ruby. Very seductive aromas and flavours of pine sap, raspberry jelly, acacia blossom and mandarin filet. Abundant very fine-grained, silky tannins. Succulent high acidity is fully integrated and highlights the red berry fruit. Cool smokey notes join the other flavours on the palate. Aromatically complex and wonderfully textured. Wonderful to drink now, but will continue to evolve and provide plenty of drinking pleasure until at least 2021.

February 8, 2015 - From magnum. Open 8 hours before serving, for most of which half the wine was in decanter. Mostly red cherry and berry with an intense spice than came across as mostly Vosne-like, but slightly more meaty. Beautiful tonight, but i think this will be even better a decade from now.
