Takes a good 2-3 hours to open but what a wonderful surprise. A beauty

November 21, 2020 - Dinner at Imperial Treasure TPC. Amber. Rich, expressive nose. Smooth and velvety. Nicely layered and complex. No signs of premox. Quite deep and rich with enough freshness to keep the flavor profile well balanced. Big presence with finesse and elegance.

Typical Burgundy, a bit broad and too much honey notes, not perfectly balanced. A bit short in the finish. 92

March 7, 2020 - Occasional dinner group: Great whites and Cult Napa (@ Merlet): Minerals, good acidity, tropical fruits, mature some fine sweet notes and a good length. Mature and still beautiful.

January 2, 2017 - Even better than July 2015 when I had it last. So well balanced and full bodied. Some "butter" which is surprising. Likely in prime but there is enough fruit for 10 plus more years. Still needs an hour to open up. Solid... need more.
