July 11, 2016 - Red fruit, well integrated tannins, espresso grounds. Showing a nice dustiness that makes this wine pair well with a grainy cheese like Parmesan as well as a 75-80% dark chocolate.

July 27, 2012 - Decanted for 3 hours. Nose was full with aromas of leather, cassis, earth. Palate is full bodied with a smooth texture. There was more tobacco, saddle leather flavors here. Nice balance with a subtle finish. I think the wine is drinking good here and should be enjoyed now. 5,13,15,5=88
