April 25, 2012 - could wait longer but tannins have settled and sweet fruit up front is not overwhelming;there is dark fruit also at the end;interesting, albeit expensive

November 21, 2011 - Terrific balance; well integrated; expensive but well worth it; one more bottle left and wish there was more

    October 28, 2009 - Distributor Tastings (CV): C&D (CV): Tolaini = family/owner
N: smoked meat. Black liquorice. TUscan terroir. Good! Layered and rich with well-integrated oak.P: Med+ bodied. Full dense satiny. Grippy delicious sweet med+ tannins Brooding and powerful. This is good, good stuff. Want to see how this progresses. 90-94?

This would be a wonderful bordeaux.... ah Rolland. Makes bordeaux everywhere :)

September 25, 2008 - Wonderful sweet fruit, hard edge tannins. Way, way, way overpriced at around $110. At $40 it would be a great wine.
