  October 16, 2020 - This was a delightful surprise. Pure, red fruited nose, almost like a grenache. Light-ish carbonation, probably less than the other bottles. A little tannin as well,which surprised me. According to the "wine education expert" this is 60% pinot noir and 40% zin from Lodi.
  
  I honestly expected this to be a gimmick, but I found myself enjoying it a lot. The obvious comparison is the Australian Domaine Chandon's sparkling shiraz, but this was a bit more elegant. It was almost like a California lambrusco. This would be great at parties.
