March 22, 2015 - One of the best Cabernet I have had, at any price. Elegance and complexity of a good Bordeaux. Tasted last year. I would definitely buy this again. Much better than most overpriced CA Cabernets, and only $26..

June 6, 2014 - Thought we waited too long. PnP and what a surprise. Smooth bramble, blackberry. Very ripe. Ends a bit fast. Last bottle, wish we had one more.
Enjoy it soon. We did.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor, blackberry and plum. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. -

December 16, 2011 - Soapy smell and taste. Only thing I can find points to mercaptan, but not sure how that would happen.

August 14, 2011 - Decanted this for several hours. Got a big nose immediately upon pouring from the bottle. Nose even better in the glass. Leather, sweet tobacco, currants. The serving temperature was kept cooler around low 60's which I felt enhanced the flavors. Rich, full-bodied, smooth. Had a dusty earth component which set up firm lingering finish. Enjoyed a small glass with grilled Filets and the remainder of the bottle afterwards. This was one of the better bottles I have enjoyed. Drinking perfect right now. 5,13,17,6=91

June 20, 2011 - This wine must be decanted especially as the older it gets. The nose is full of funk and barnyard odors. However, this blows off after 1-2 hours decanting. The flavors evolve into an earthy, dusty leather palate this is very different. I have had over four cases of this wine in the last several years and formulated different reviews. The wine is still enjoyable, but decanting is key. If you have some drink it now. I am suspicious how much longer this one will last. 5+12+15+5=87
