Community Tasting Notes 4

April 4, 2009 - In my view this is better than a lot of much higher priced Californian cabs I have tasted. Nicely balanced, with fresh ripe red berry fruits, some smokey notes and vanilla cream. Palate has a lovely texture, very fresh, very fruity and very easy to drink. I don't think it will survive too many years of cellaring, but then I guess it is deliberately made for early drinking. Great with steak.

April 22, 2008 - Medium full bodied wine. Cool climate definately shows. Hints of coconut, cream and red berries. Enjoyable with roast meat

April 9, 2008 - Nice bottle - creamy, nice smooth texture. Slight smokiness. Enjoyed with roast beef

March 30, 2008 - Overwhelmed by coarse minerality - a rather bland experience.
