May 11, 2018 - Well this was a pleasant surprise! Didn't have huge hopes for this bottle due to the vintage, but was still alive and kicking. It doesn't need any more age, the tannins are basically gone, the fruit has evolved into a nice sweet leathery taste, but the acid is still there, giving the whole thing a nice backbone.

March 31, 2013 - This has really improved. Decanted 2 hours. Showing some age at the edge. Dark brick red color. Lots of cherries, smoke, tar and leather on the nose and palate. Medium finish. Really nice.
