Community Tasting Notes 16

December 7, 2014 - Probably waited too long. On first opening, it was just grape juice. On the nose and in the first taste. Set aside for 30 minutes. Still big jammy fruit but with lots of floral, violets and lavender. No structure. The jammy and the floral are not complimentary. Too bad. If you have it, drink up.

March 19, 2012 - Really came together the second night. Notes of black pepper, some vanilla, and dark fruits. Round and supple.

April 10, 2011 - - Brick color with fast forming legs and aromas of blackberry and raspberry. It's balanced and has flavours of black pepper with a medium/full body. Juicy texture with a long finish.

July 19, 2010 - tastes olderthan it should. sort of pruny instead of plummy. Quite a contrast to the brand spankin new pinot I was drinking the same night.
