October 17, 2022 - Note no 1500! I had forgotten how good this wine was. Sometimes you forget the reward of cellaring but I was really reminded with this bottle.
Complex nose of wax, honey, mango, pineapple, apples, lanolin.
Round and smooth with a balancing acidity and a stroke of oxidation, but not dominating at all. Medium plus body. At peak! -

May 15, 2020 - Drank my last bottle last night with chicken/pheasant barley soup. Delicious. Very fresh fruit. Wonderful balance. Elegant. Wish I had more.

March 16, 2020 - As others have noted with this producer and year, the bottle was unfortunately defective. Totally oxidized out of the bottle, with a sickly amber hue and nightmarish nose.
