December 28, 2016 - A decent wine, certainly, but as a typical Chilean wine, it is not really moving; black fruit, quite a bit of sweetness, dense, heavy even - so is the price tag compared to the quality.

December 25, 2015 - Black fruit & some menthol on the nose. On the palate full bodied but not as smooth as the 07. Black fruit and a hint of a herbacious element. Maybe eucalyptus and green bell peppers. Tannins receding. Would stand out well against a very good right bank Bordeaux.

June 3, 2009 - Wild nose, plus oak and a bit of floral; nice spice on palate plus considerable oak; smooth mouthfeel, nice. 90-91.

December 1, 2007 - Black color with a purple hue. Dark berries, vegetable aromas, tomato and tobaco plant, and brownsugar on the nose. Good intens fruit on the palate, packing some dark chocolate and cigar on the midpalate before ending with some tannins. Good length, but a constant underlying tone of bitterness, seems just a bit over extracted.

October 8, 2007 - An attractive nose: black hedgerow fruit with a dusty edge.
Lovely palate. Very good character and depth, and interest.
