December 24, 2020 - Classic left bank bdx; as previous tasting notes said better on the nose than on the palate but neverless nice to drink. At peak now, wont get any better

April 14, 2018 - As other notes expressed, a fine nose but a thin palate. Drink up.

October 22, 2017 - Pleasurable wine. Some cassis left. Lots of tertiary aromas. Nose bigger than taste. On the plate it appears a bit thinned out. But still very enjoyable.

July 23, 2016 - During a merchant tasting. Medium brick. Expressive nose of cedar, barnyard and earth, similar to the 1985, slightly to animalic for the fruit that is left. Tannins are soft and the wine is elegant to drink but too sinewy in the mid palate, the whole in the mid palate really seemed to be the hallmark of this under-performing Chateau, given its terroir.

June 6, 2014 - last bottle from this chateau of this vintage: and we are lucky, a very fine nose, sweet fruit of cassis in the foreground, on the palate in the beginning the same almost sweet cassisfruit, some earthy tones, little mineralic, herbs, dry and fresh, midweight body, fine with meat, long finish, after more than two hours the wine is fading and drying out, if you still have cellared a bottle of this vintage I recommend not do decant this wine, just p and p and enjoy, 87-89
