October 21, 2015 - Drinking very well right now. Balanced fruit with some spice on the finish. Great with grilled lamb chops.

September 8, 2010 - My bottle needed a full two hours before it began to open up. Big blueberry and floral aromas in the nose. Full bodied with a nice chocolate like texture. Dark fruit, white/black pepper and chocolate dominate on the palate. Long spicy finish with a little acidity thrown in the mix. Needs time IMO.

May 29, 2010 - Smoky black fruit on the nose. Nothing real extraordinary here. Pretty well balanced although the tannins make it a little rough on the mid-palate. Probably could have benefited from a decanter- which I didn't use (my bad for sure). Will wait another year or two before opening the other bottle.
