November 18, 2023 - Gorgeous red and blue fruits and mineral notes—particularly on the finish. Polished and round mouthfeel. Long and super finessed. Something was holding back and we felt this perhaps was not a perfect bottle but still very good.

August 14, 2021 - Spectacular. Has that singular Jayer quality. Incredible purity of cherry fruit along with serious stony, boulder minerality (echoing Vines That Bind note from a couple of years ago). Regal and effortlessly beautiful. This grew in intensity and expressiveness over the course of a few hours with the last sips being the best indicating likely further improvement and a long life ahead. Brilliant. I just adore this wine. 99+

June 26, 2021 - What an amazing wine. So full of energy, so wide and yet so pure. Awesome experience.

April 24, 2021 - EOW Dinner - Most open of the 2000s and most balanced and structured. Freshness with perfume, rose pedals. Wow. Still can use more time and opens up even more beautifully over time. My wine of the night in the Jayer line up

April 24, 2021 - Last official vintage. Dark ruby color, good condition. Highly lifted and very clean sarsaparilla and sous bois aromatics. Serious brooding palate that reminds you Cros Parantoux is actually quite a brute. 1,390 bottles produced. (00476)
