March 4, 2023 - Hint av petro som blåser vekk fort. Etter det after eight, kanskje marsipan, urter. I munnen deilig marsipan og mynte. Sødme og syre har gått opp i en høyere enhet og ingen av dem kjennes spesielt dominerende nå. Magiske greier.
October 27, 2018 - Lots of fruit. Drinking fine, a good but not great wine.
January 9, 2016 - Typical Urtziger nose, with petroleum and ripe tropical fruits.
Palate shows a bit overripe fruit in this vintage, missing the cut and acidity balance I always get in this wine from other, cooler vintages, but still very nice.
Dr. Christoffel did a good job in saving this, and to manage to reach the quality this shows, despite the heat in 2003.
Enjoyable wine, but not a top vintage.

October 25, 2011 - Developing nicely now a few years after the last bottle. Never is gonna be focused and linear, but showing secondary and petrol characteristics in addition to the peach-pit and stone fruit qualities. Finish is much better than I recall-apple pienand spice, really tasty. A good match for applesauce and mustard braised pork chops.
April 8, 2011 - Very enjoyable, but not very complex.
April 3, 2011 - Pleasant but no there there. Not enough cut, not enough fruit.
September 6, 2008 - Full but with much greater cut than I expected. Sweet but not cloying, with lots of ripe white fruits. Perfect apertif.
December 12, 2005 - Very pale gold, took a bit of coaxing to open up, then shows a lot of ripe apple, pear and stone fruit notes aromatically and on the palate. Came off as a bit soft and round, med-bodied, with minerals and more stone fruit on the finish. Lacks some precision and cut, not particularly structured, but drinking nicely both as an aperitif and with spicy chicken.
