January 8, 2023 - Adriana's birthday party (80) and dinner and 'her' Frans opened some nice bottles: sweet, round, bit hefty acidity, aftertaste a bit clumsy (375 ML).

February 20, 2022 - Golden, very sweet and relatively low glycerin. Honeyed apricot, peaches and touch of mango. A crowd pleaser for those who like the stickies.

January 2, 2021 - A bottle thats been stored away for a few years, enjoyed at Christmas (bit late...). For me, this was a either a little past peak, or in a 'developing' stage. Wish I'd had it a few years earlier, or in 10 years.

N: Deep, developing, sweet caramelized apricots, burnt orange juice reduction, marmalade rind, cut white mushroom undercurrent. Alive.

P: Deep, mouthcoating burnt caramel & sharp old fashioned marmalade. Developing dried arrange, rose water, manuka honey. Background of spice, cinnamon, marzipan. Some tightness brings tension, but would like higher acid. Very complex. Sweet, but turning savoury. Developed and developing.

    F: longg.

November 15, 2020 - Gedronken tijdens Boreauxavond met Jeffrey en Stephan op 6/11/2020. Top wijn!!!

September 1, 2020 - A load of apricot, orange marmalade, orange creamcicle, touch of peaches. Just enough glycerin / botrytis to make it stand out. Wish the finish were longer as it seemed to prematurely fade after only 15 seconds. Could this wine be on the downhill side of its peak already?
