April 1, 2018 - My bottle was in great shape; powerful, fruit holding up well....

October 12, 2012 - Bday Dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Boomstick :) (Maison de Giggitty (aka our house)): 6+ hour decant.

This was much better than I was expecting. I thought it was somewhere between old and new world stylistically. Had this next to an 04 Kosta Browne Cohn Vineyard, and that Pinot is definitely new world.

The Aston still had some subtle red fruit flavors, with some of the secondary flavors starting to show. Caramel, meats, hint of funk.

Drinking well now I think if it's been properly stored, and seemed like it had some more life on it. Wish I had more...

August 7, 2011 - Agree with JNScellar. For a pinot affecianado this is singularly as good as it gets. Only disappointment, why do I have but one bottle?
