July 1, 2019 - A natural wine done well. Just a hint of barnyard, but otherwise classically Cab Franc with green peppercorn and brambly berries with a smack of graphite and some spice. Palate is a bit on the austere side, but the structure is really lovely. I wouldn't decant these at this point, the fruit did begin to fade.

(Olivier Cousin Cabernet Franc Vieilles Vignes) This was a deep, very intense and very structured wine. Lots of sap on the palate with some lovely herbal notes. Really flavorful stuff. Many different fruits. I really liked this.
