December 24, 2022 - Two year vertical with the 2006. Also a super dark clear Merlot. Firm cork with 3mm penetration. Decanted off of gritty sediment.
By comparison this right bank was a little ahead in every way except tertiary development. Deep dark and mysterious in the glass
The nose was similar but more pronounced and more floral than the 06.
All tasters uniformly preferred the 07 with its superior balance and slightly richer body.
