November 10, 2023 - Loved it! Poured clear, mid-dark red, slight browning around the edge. Heavy crust. Nose of raisins and spices (cinnamon? Allspice?). Palate of dark fruits, plums and fruitcake. Still alive, but I would suggest drinking any remaining stocks sooner than later.

March 16, 2023 - I really enjoyed this. A heavy crust had settled, and the wine poured clear and medium ruby coloured. Nose was a touch subdued, with chocolate and plums coming through. On the palate, the years had mellowed the big, big fruit. Plums, coffee, chocolate. Don't wait too much longer....

October 10, 2009 - Gibson's was the highlight of my winery visits in Australia (Margaret River, Barossa, McLaren Vale and Bendigo). This was the top wine tasted in my trip. Powerful yet balanced. Outstanding.
