February 2, 2012 - Australian Shiraz is just not my thing; most seem to be over the top over oaked, fruitbombs! I have to admit, this is the last of a couple of bottles bought a few years back. Very impressive for a $25 bottle of wine. Approachable with spice, smoke, asphalt, anise and dark berries . Dark and very full bodied with flavors of dark berries, licorice, and vanilla. Smooth tannins support a great long, full finish.
