  February 10, 2024 - Drinking as well I think, as it will. We really like the PM portfolio, have thoroughly enjoyed our visits there, love the chardonnays and L Apres midi. Very much like the Les Pavots and it lasts and improves, although sometimes when it gets too far along into secondaries the balance seems to be left behind, So I think for the 2006, now s a good time

  December 26, 2023 - Perfect with Christmas prime rib. Juicy fruit, firm tannin and a big but not overwhelming body. Coconut and menthol. Nice long finish.

  January 1, 2023 - Decanted for an hour and a half with some sediment - perfect cork. Our last bottle of this wine was just over 3 years ago (11/30/19). This bottle was very enjoyable as well but did show advancing age in that it was not quite as fresh as our previous bottle.
  The nose was full of red fruits and spice. The medium plus bodied palate showed mostly dark red fruits, some brighter red fruits, some spice, touches of cedar and earth, and nicely balancing acidity, with all tannins completely integrated. This wine could hold for several more years, but advancing age indicates no reason to wait.
