April 7, 2013 - Brambly red fruit, brown sugar, and blueberry on the nose. Wine has softened around the edges over the years as well as turned a beautiful deep tawny garnet. Opened up well over an evening, alcohol level well balanced, still some element of fruit. Drank well, very much enjoyed.

August 27, 2006 - The Blind Drunks monthly tasting (Niche Restaurant, Geneva, Illinois): Tasted double blind. Deep ruby color, with mint and red fruit notes following through on the palate. Decent finish.
