  November 13, 2021 - La Fete: Gala Dinner (Chelsea Piers: Pier 60): Really lucky to get to try this wine which was probably one of the most special of the evening. It's really lovely and balanced and while at this point in the night I seemed to get a lot of extra sweetness in all of the wines that was more muted here.

  March 10, 2020 - Fairly flat bottle but what it lacked in bubbles it more than made up for in quality as a still wine. Deep gold in colour with very fine lees still at the bottom of the bottle so if not stood well could be a little cloudy. Searing acidity balances a sherry-like (probably the age) sweetness wrapped by a lovely core of fruit that holds it all together in perfect harmony. Would stand toe-to-toe with any GC white of the best pedigree.
