January 28, 2014 - Tasted blind. Clean, medium (+) garnet with brown hues. Definitely showing a little age. The nose is clean, developed and medium (+) in intensity, with aromas of dry red cherries, tar, earth, forest floor. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol and resolved tannins. This is a well made wine which is ready and perhaps past its prime. I would not have guessed that it was this old, however, so it showed pretty well.

November 11, 2012 - Aromas of mainly red berry fruit, tart red plums and a touch of dark fruit with white pepper, garrigue, coffee and Brett notes. Fairly full-bodied with mostly resolved tannins and a velvety soft texture. Fairly good length. Don't think this will gain more complexity with additional bottle age, but a well stored bottle should be able to last another 5 years.
