August 1, 2020 - Excellent, classic Aussie Shiraz with that heavy oak giving it a deep vanilla flavor. Drink now to 2025.

June 10, 2020 - Nearly identical to my last note two years ago. Intense and dense layers of raspberry, blackberry and boysenberry fruit, with black pepper and spices. Bright yet opulent fruit held in terrific balance by the acid and tannic structure, balance being the key. Not much in common with a northern Rhone, but excellent in its way. Delightfully -- even dangerously -- delicious.

April 14, 2020 - 14.5%. Purchased at winery, stored temperature controlled since purchase. Popped and poured. Tasting note from second day. Medium red, garnet rim. Fragrant red berry and plum fruit. Some toasted oak, chocolate, and spice notes. With air sweet blueberries. Rounded, tannins have fully integrated, some liquorice on the very long finish.

April 14, 2020 - Tart, red fruit flavor profile (raspberry, maybe even cranberry)...mid weight. I don't have much experience with Shiraz, but this was nice and had a good balance, if not extraordinary complexity.

October 19, 2019 - Guys Night Out with Wagyu Tenderloin and Crepe Cake: This seemed to be a classic Australian wine that is not hot at all. There is a slight liqueur quality to it in it's creamyness and fruityness. There is red fruit, black pepper and spice.
