Community Tasting Notes 4

July 3, 2009 - dark purple color. the nose is full of cedar, currant jam, rose petals and some mr. bubble soap. plush palate. the tannins are really silky and smooth. lots of black cherries, currants, mocha and vanilla. lots of fruit, but its not candied. the 14.7% alcohol doesn't show. 77% from sonoma and 23% from napa. there's also some syrah, merlot and cab franc in here. great qpr wine that went great with food fresh off the grill.

December 29, 2008 - Good QPR. Nothing stunning--but a well put together Cab for a weekday dinner.

May 18, 2008 - bell pepper, aloe and cherry on the nose. cherry and pyrazine flavors amid a full body. short finish.
