February 7, 2009 - Pale yellow in glass. Interesting nose of a buttered yeast roll wrapped around a spiced pear. Nice weighty mouthfeel full of spiced pear, ginger, and a lingering butterscotch. Very long and warm finish. Nice easy drinking chenin blanc with an interesting yeasty quality and a kiss of butterscoch. (B).
