February 12, 2019 - It has aged graciously; beautiful ruby color, elegant, pleasant tannin, lots of dried red fruits, lasting finish.

July 4, 2015 - Great stuff. Reminded me that I still like super Tuscany. No notes taken. Drinking really well.

March 4, 2012 - Somewhat faint aromas of dried cherries and violets on the nose. Tastes like dried raspberry with some still fresh red fruit and a slight earthy undertone. Still has driving acidity and a pleasant amount of alcohol. Superfine tannins are soft and lush making this wine go down smooth!

September 25, 2011 - This wine just really shone tonight. Bright fruit and acid in perfect balance. Lighter bodied, but a lot of depth. Great with lamb shanks tonight.

April 29, 2011 - Popped and poured, allowed to open up in the glass. A nice garnet red with some brown on the edge. The nose is very expressive and very elegant, refined notes of light blueberry, a bit of physallis and a slight hint of barnyard. The palate is fairly heavy on tannins, but otherwise quite light and racy, with red berries and good acidity. This will be good with food, an excellent wine!
