November 9, 2012 - Extreemly well balanced. Velvet and depth which is supported by the soft tannins. On the very top now.

February 13, 2010 - Just delicious. Rich, warm and smooth. Everything you want in a wine with food. It was delightful with a rich moussaka.

December 21, 2009 - Not a very enjoyable wine. Hot and tannic with subdued fruit.

June 7, 2009 - Youthful appearance - deep ruby red, medium pale ruby rim. Spirity, raisined, pruney fruit nose - obvious alcohol. Some cherry fruit poking through. Uncomfortably hot on the mid-palate, over-ripe fruit, short, hot and tannic finish. Particularly unpleasant although not obviously faulty. Perhaps age just has not been kind to this?

October 23, 2005 - Medium/deep ruby core, narrow cherry rim. Good, intense and complex nose - rich, with mocha, meaty hints and sour red cherry fruit. Good on the palate too - with evident but soft tannins giving a nice mouthfeel and good balance provided by medium + acidity and good concentration of fruit. Mocha and rich dark chocolate dominate the initial attack with sour red fruit lingering on a good length finish, with a hint of bitterness. Very good wine, drinking well now with food, will probbaly imporve further and still be drinking well in 4-5 years time.
