July 2, 2012 - Tasted at the Chardonnay Symposium, Santa Maria Valley. Expressive- nice apple and lemon creme notes on the bouquet. Nicely layered flavors of mineral, caramel, citrus, melon and spice. Rich on the palate with a fine feel and full finish. Drinking well at age 13.

April 11, 2010 - Color: Pale/straw yellow.
Nose: Unsalted buttered popcorn, toasted almond, toast, grated lemon zest.
Taste: Buttered toast, lemon, hit of green apple. Medium body with solid focused acidity. More lemon zest, and popcorn on the finish.
Very good length: 30+ second. Fine example of Santa Maria Chardonnay 91+. (Drink now-2012). -
