  February 27, 2021 - Got to give it up for the sheer chutzpah of this wine. 15 year old zin, and it's still going strong. Deep, intense, still fruit driven with mostly black fruit and a lot of earthy notes on the lengthy finish. Punches way above its weight.

  January 27, 2017 - This one held up much better than previous bottle. Anise with soft tannin's showing. This one held in cooler, not room temp.

  December 15, 2016 - bought 2006 Rockpile and 2010 Rockpile together at liquor store sitting at room temp then decanted both and drank side-by-side to compare. Both still very good but the 06 has a more brown tint to it as well as more mature flavors than the 2010. Neither as sweet as the new vintages but both have life left, even the 2006 (2-3 more years?) Love Rosenblum.

  May 22, 2016 - So smooth, deep, rich, peppery, jammy, and delicious. Best of 7 (by far) in an informal calif Zin tasting.
