  November 12, 2011 - A bit thick, but overall I liked very much. Some vanilla and raspberry jam notes. Didn't pick up too much wood of the last taster.

  March 15, 2011 - I thought this was pretty tasty, and a little woody. I love the taste the volcanic soils of the Sierra Foothills usually give us, and this one did not disappoint. It was big and fruity, and on the edge of being flabby, but still elegant mostly because the acid was almost perfect, There was too much oak, but also a creamy richness that brought it to full bodied. Lots of sharp, almost focused red fruit, like strawberry and red raspberry, and even a little cranberry that poked it's head out of the woods, and continued on through the finish. Would like to try some of this in 2012.
