June 15, 2014 - Had this with dinner in Shanghai. Bordeaux-like with some new world influence. I would have guessed some Merlot in the blend, although I am not sure if this is so. Rounded tannins. Smooth and mellow; well integrated; some complexity. There is still good aged cabernet fruit with possibly a very slight hint of stewed plum. Nice wine.

April 22, 2009 - Drank this wine over Chinese dinner in Shanghai and found it to be surprisingly food friendly and of good quality. Had a typical Cab nose and tastes in a bordeuax style. Body was a bit thin and tannins had mellowed, but probably due to the fact that it was a '94. All in all impressive given my low expectations
