December 25, 2016 - Well rounded tannins perfectly balanced with dried currant, this wine is drinking at its peak right now. This wine smells seductively concentrated and still holds its vigorous robust nose of black pepper, tobacco and spice.

January 30, 2013 - Deep ruby color with a sweet, dark red fruit nose. Blackberry, tart cherry with some black cherry, cedar, spice, low tannins and a hint of a metallic taste.

August 3, 2011 - Big for a Temperance Hill. Silky texture, some cola with dark fruit flavors. Lost the mid-palate after a couple of hours. I'd opt to drink up soon.

July 12, 2011 - Forthright and complex yet delicate nose (wonderful!), rich and silky on the palate.
Full bodied (for a pinot - hot vintage), but with wonderful balance. Still got some future, I'd wager...
