August 9, 2014 - Opened during a tasting, together with a Lafite 1973 ( which was superior ).
Low level in bottle, mouldy cork, but it came out if three pieces.
Very funky smell when opening the bottle, so we feared wine had gone bad.
Not taking in mind the aroma, we decided to have a go and tasted.
Honestly, not much left inside, some hint of mushrooms, raisins and coffee.
Still, we enjoyed this old old lady and the bottle did not take long to empty :-)
