March 17, 2021 - Tight and tannic at first. An hour revealed more nose and mid pallette. Overall good but never quite gets great. Pours dark. Tannin suggests more time needed. Lack of fruit suggests past its prime.

June 2, 2014 - To my pallet, I characterize this wine as haven't black cherry/blackberry burnt toast, light initially becoming clean with a fairly strong dry finish. There is a hint of solvent to say you shiudda drank me sooner! Not pouring it out, too good for that.

November 14, 2013 - Letting sit for 20 minutes before drinking really helped this wine. Had a spiciness to it while on the tongue that disappeared quickly at the finish. Definitely at the 'drink now' window of its aging.
