January 13, 2013 - I agree with the tasting notes of the previuous tasters as well however, we open an 03' last night and it was exceptional.

April 16, 2011 - I agree with the accurate tasting notes of the previous taster which were true to the same 2003 I tried: color bricking, fine tannins, cherries, mocha from the oak, sweet plummy finish. However, I disagree on the age ability of this heat wave vintage. For me it is in its final phase, it has already unwound and there is not enough acidity and structure left for it to endure much longer. I really enjoyed this; it is very tasty now and well made for the vintage but drink up if you have any left in your cellar. Perhaps it ages well on a typical vintage but 2003 saw torrid heat and should be seen as atypical for most of Europe.

July 12, 2010 - Some nice bricking on the colour - this wine is starting to mature and unwind. Notes of dark cherries, chocolate, fine tannins. A touch of heat and then some liquorice and a long finish. Sweet fruit with a touch of a plummy finish. Nice stuff, needs rich food to bring out the best in the wine. Nice stuff. No rush to drink - has years left in it
