    October 10, 2009 - WIML90

Tasted October 10, 2009 at a retail tasting.

The 2005 vintage is a blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Cabernet Franc and 8% Malbec. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of potpourri, roasted meat, plums and a bit of currant. Flavors of black berries, plums and black cherries. Medium to bright acidity, firm tannins, medium body. Drink now with some air time or over the medium term.
