May 26, 2018 - Very good intensity and depth of fruit. Somewhat Rugged on the finish, with woodsy tannins. Better served quite cold, it lost a little focus as it warmed

December 7, 2017 - Dense, but a bit clunky compared to the other whites. There was some concern from the group about oxidation, though to me it seemed like the oak was a bit too prominent. I admired the intensity of this wine, but it wasn't as balanced or harmonious as I would have wanted.

August 2, 2017 - Blind White Burgs - Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (Acadia): 2006 Ramonet flight. Full aromatic nose of fresh apple and peach, mineral with a slight matchstick note. Young and vibrant with rich and dense fruit. Nice almond/nut note. Similar to the BBM, if a little less evolved and detailed today.

August 2, 2017 - Blind White Dinner: Top Producers' Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet (Acadia - Chicago IL): Single blind in Ramonet 2006 flight. Peach and apple with savory spice. Just as powerful as the BBM, but leaner, longer and more complex. Perhaps less fun for right now.

September 14, 2016 - Early mature notes, nuts, citrus, cheese. Powerful fruit, will likely continue to develop for many years in the cellar.
