November 21, 2020 - First glass was not bad, but went downhill in an hour or two. Later glasses had good acid but fruit disipated and finish was not very complex

April 1, 2018 - Subsequent notes on this wine from over three years ago. Medium-deep ruby red in color with slight clearing at the edges. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & raspberries with exotic spice overtones of sandalwood, cloves & cinnamon, some floral notes, cherry-cola, earthy/dusty, minerals, cedar & a touch of vanilla. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & plums with spices, cherry-cola, earthy, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Lingering smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present but has the fruit & structure to hold onto its current plateau for longer although any further development might be minimal. A wonderful Pinot with more classic Burgundian focus.
