  February 8, 2012 - Exlposive apricot, quince and pear on the nose of this wine with a slight mineraly slate frame holding it up. Great, rounded but elegant mid-palate with medium acidity. Still lively as the day it was bottled, just wish the acids were more vibrant and bracing rather than just faintly supporting.

  December 24, 2011 - I didn't really get this wine, although it's my first experience of sylvaner. Plenty of minerality, but I kept waiting for it to open out in the mid palate. Overall I found it a bit dull.

  November 14, 2008 - Binny's Alsace Tasting (Binny's South Loop, Chicago): Mineral-driven nose with a bit of honeydew. Tastes full, and of white flowers. Not much acidity or crispness really; ending feels a bit chubby but has a decent feel & nice flavors.
