Community Tasting Notes 2

March 22, 2015 - Garnet red in the glass; slightly cloudy. Darkish red fruit on the nose. Velvety tannins intoduce red fruit and marzipan on the palate. Full body. Long, fruity earthy finish. Ten years on it's delicious!

June 15, 2009 - Nose: characteristic of the corvina grape (smells very similar to a classic amarone). Cherry jam. Surprisingly aromatic and gorgeous nose.

Taste: Full mouthfeel, gorgeous red fruit, tastes very similar to a high end valpolicella ripassa. Tannins are still firm due to the Nebbiolo and the wine shut down after about 20 minutes. Needs 2-3 years in bottle, minimum. Huge finish.

The best PA wine I've ever tasted. Honestly, with time, I could see 91-92 points from this.
