March 9, 2017 - First thing I would like to say is that I keep my wine in great conditions. Saying that, I would to express my amazement to how well my 2006 Hahn Pinot Noir has held up. I will admit that so far of the twelve bottles, I have consumed most of them this year. For a variety of reasons I have gotten a little behind on keeping up with the cellar. The good news is that this wine has held up surprisingly well. So far, I have had 2 bottles that were beyond there time due to bad corks. Today I opened up numer 11, and it was magnificent. I can't say that was true of all of them. The wine has no tannin and is silky smooth. Flavors of cherry, mint and camphor with a wonderful medium long finish. What a surprise.

December 20, 2016 - I keep thinking this wine is going to die, but it just keeps surprising me. The nose is filled with raisin and currents, the color is turning a little, but, if your eyes were closed, this is a very good drink. Tonight we had this wine with a toasted garlic loaf, roast beef and asiago cheese sandwich. It was a great match. I have six bottles left and plan to finish them in the next two months. The wine is very smooth with a medium to long finish.

November 4, 2012 - Raspberry and a hint of cherry. The finish was a nice, drawn-out tartness. Probably at it's peak - beautiful. One of the best Hahn's that I can remember.

June 22, 2012 - Don't drink outside of window. Acidic.

March 16, 2012 - Not bad at the Costco price of $7. Extremely fruity but balanced in acidity with a sweet finish. Goes well with lighter fare.
