November 20, 2015 - Decanted and found a fair amount of sediment left in the bottle. Nose started pretty skunky and dusty, although that blew off in an hour or so and left a pretty bland nose with stoniness and maybe prune. Surprisingly pleasant on the palate with notes of cherry and currant, with a touch of cranberry. Medium bodied with a deceptively smooth mouthfeel and a decent finish. Seems past peak, but still very drinkable.

April 13, 2015 - Really Skunky on opening. Never gave a whole lot, some, some cherry and slate, not much else.

February 1, 2015 - Six years since my last bottle. Cellared since release. Some bottle stink when first uncorked. Lean black cherry palate, herbs, very savory. Enjoyable. Lean. Balanced. With air, really nice plummy fruit, fuzzy sides, velour-like texture. Sweet fruit emerges with air. Really a nice surprise.

June 4, 2013 - Better than the last bottle, nasty sulfur on opening which decreased to unveil basic blueberry fruit and a very steely base. Not entirely pleasant.

May 26, 2013 - Based on the reviews there seems to be bottle variation on this one. I have enjoyed both bottles I got from Garagiste and have no complaints. Held up well over two nights and paired nicely with a steak and porobello mushroom off the grill.
