November 11, 2015 - Nase sehr elegant und fein. Im Mund schon etwas ausgezehrt, aber immer noch gut. Hat den Höhepunkt wohl hinter sich und ist weitere 5 Jahre gut trinkbar.

February 15, 2007 - Purchased this for $11 at the winery in 1998. Opened it with dinner on Valentine's Day of Italian style breaded veal cutlets and fettucine alfredo. This 11 year old CC was still drinkable but not without its minor flaws. On the nose it had a slight metallic aroma. Medium bodied with notes of violet, clove, charcoal and earthy red fruit. A little barnyard came out on the finish. Drink up. 83 points.

October 6, 1998 - Purchased 1 bottle in Fall 1998 from the vineyard while in Tuscany. The best Chianti my wife and I tasted while in Italy. The fruit, acidity and tannins were nicely balanced.
