February 15, 2022 - Ich spare mir einen langen Sermon, liest ja eh keiner. Der Wein ist jetzt mit 15 Jahren auf seinem Zenit angelangt. Eine harmonische Melange aus mürber Frucht, Kräutern, mineralischer Schiefer-Würze und schokoladigem Tannin. Kein bisschen schwer oder müde, für mich der beste Faugeres den man für Geld kaufen kann. 92+

August 12, 2017 - Der Wein ist definitiv unterschätzt. Am ersten Tag wie ein sehr guter, aber harmloser Faugeres: Pflaume, Cassis, Erdbeere und viel süße Schiefer-Würze, aber am Gaumen eher füllig. Am zweiten Tag macht er dann ernst, Lakritze, Leder, kräuterige Würze, am Gaumen viel kühler und straffer, mineralisch, großartiges bitterschokoladiges Tannin im Abgang. Hat problemlos noch 5-6 große Jahre vor sich.

June 7, 2015 - Solid wine. Good fruity base with lovely tannic grip. Big nose. Perhaps a couple of years from its peak but it was a great match to a rich stew.
