September 13, 2015 - Nice bottle of chianti Classico. A good balance of fruit and earthiness with just enough acidity and tannins make this a pleasant and easy drinker.

February 28, 2015 - On magnum. At it's peak, with layers of fruit (cherry), forrest earth, a little tobacco and some sangiovese bitter in the after taste. Very easy to drink; bottle was empty in no time at all. Went very well with the Tuscan beef stew.
