January 14, 2022 - (tasted from 375ml) a marvelous, tender nose of sweet cedar, brown sugar and hickory smoke gives up delicate nougat-like sweetness in the mouth with a certain citric energy. Totally resolved structure with no evident tannin. With time tobacco smoke and autumn leaf and leather take hold on the nose, widening the aromatic spectrum in a whispy fashion. Graceful sweetness and a wine of arrival! Delicious treat. Low ullage, too!

April 25, 2018 - Unable to score because of the TCA influence on this bottle. Such a pity because this has such class and ethereal aromas and flavors. Glimpses of Grand Cru quality.

February 14, 2014 - Incredible! What at treat!
hard to believe a 61 year old burg in half bottle could be this delicious, fresh and balanced. Beautiful fruit! enjoyed with lamb chops- perfect
